Every track has its own character, and no two projects require exactly the same approach. The examples below provide a snapshot of my work across a range of styles and demonstrate how mixing and mastering can enhance; clarity, balance, impact, and overall translation while preserving the artist's original vision.
Each project includes a direct comparison, allowing you to hear the difference for yourself. Whether the goal is greater clarity, improved balance, increased impact, or a more polished final presentation, every decision is made with the needs of the track in mind.

Example Details
Example 1 is a great representation of how mastering can really alter the sound if you want it to. I received this song to semi-mix and fully master as part of a university group-assignment. Two of the song’s band members were in my group, and they offered to record one of their new songs for the group assignment.
Example 2 is a song I fully wrote, composed, sang, mixed, and mastered, as part of my final university assignment where I had to make my own album.
Example 3 was also from a university group-assignment, the goal was to make an acoustic track with no synths or stuff like that, and my friend in that group suggested we do one of his songs he wrote. As a group we discussed some of the chords to use and the pacing, after all that was sorted out I helped record everything in the song, my friend sang & played the guitar, and the double bass and drums were session musicians, then finally we quickly recorded the end percussion (tambourine etc.) as an after-thought.
Example 4 is yet another uni assignment… you may recognise an ongoing trend here with uni assignments haha. But yes example 4 is when I had an assignment brief that wanted me to create an orchestral track, but with a twist, I ended up being very happy with this track & I got quite a good grade on it too.
Example 5 is a song I fully wrote, composed, sang, mixed, and mastered, as part of my final university assignment where I had to make my own album.
Example 6 is a track where I had to start off with two or three pre-selected samples and grow the track into something from there.
